ICLEI USA and ClimateView Host Webinar to Mark the Rollout of ClearPath 2.0

FEBRUARY 3, 2025 – ICLEI USA and ClimateView recently co-hosted the second of three webinars to introduce ClearPath 2.0, the next-generation climate planning platform designed to help U.S. subnational governments accelerate their transition towards sustainable, prosperous futures.

The session brought together sustainability leaders to explore how ClearPath 2.0 moves beyond traditional carbon accounting, enabling cities to plan holistically using ClimateView’s Transition Elements. The platform supports cities in connecting emissions reduction goals with broader economic, social, and environmental benefits.

“With ClearPath 2.0 local governments have the tools they need to lead the way. Not just managing emissions but in creating thriving, resilient communities,” said Saharnaz Mirzazad, Executive Director of ICLEI USA. “Together we are setting the standards for what is possible in climate action.”

The webinar highlighted the platform’s new features, including advanced scenario modeling, economic impact assessments, and tools for adaptive, data-informed planning. Participants gained insights into how ClearPath 2.0 fosters global collaboration, connecting U.S. cities with peers worldwide to share strategies and learn from best practices.

“ClearPath 2.0 is not just a new version of a trusted tool—it’s a new way of thinking,” said Tomer Shalit, Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer of ClimateView. “Cities are no longer merely solving for emissions reductions. They’re striving to build societies that are livable, equitable, and resilient, all while contributing to a shared global climate effort.”

The event concluded with a dynamic Q&A session, reflecting strong engagement from city leaders eager to apply the platform in their local contexts.
