Main Purpose: | Provide a detailed, strategic framework for reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions across all sectors, enhancing climate resilience, and engaging stakeholders in alignment with local, state, and federal climate goals. |
Mandated by: | CCAPs are often required by national or state-level climate policies, such as the EPA’s Climate Pollution Reduction Grants (CPRG) program in the U.S., or similar frameworks in other countries. |
